By  |

Taylor Swift has challenged and conquered the music industry and now she is on to the fashion industry.

Earlier this month Swift stood up against Apple Inc. and won when she thought they were not paying artists enough royalties during a three month trial of their new music service. The singer- songwriter had already disputed with Apple’s competitor, Spotify, earlier this year for also not paying artists enough in royalties.

Now, Swift is teaming up with JD.com, China’s second largest e- commerce website, to launch a clothing line. Swift’s line will be available only in China opening in November, which coincides with Swift’s 1989 tour date in Shanghai. Fashionista.com reports that Swift made the deal with JD.com to fight the brands that use her name without the rights to.
Huffington Post reports that the line will include “dresses, sweatshirts and tops”. Swift is known for wearing matching crop top sets so the line is bound to be filled with her classic look.

Swift got her start in the fashion industry with Keds in Fall 2012. She currently has a “1989 World Tour” shoe line available for them. The designs include a print from her 1989 album, cats and all the North American tour stops. They are available in DSW, Shoe Carnival, Nordstrom, Famous Footwear and Rack Room Shoes.

Swift has a stylish group of friends that consists of some of the world’s most renown models: Karlie Kloss, Gigi Hadid, Martha Hunt, Lily Aldridge and that is just the beginning. Check out her “Bad Blood” music video to see more.
