Easy to Make Treats for your Halloween party

Halloween Treats

Whether you’re throwing a Halloween party or having a sleepover with friends, Halloween food is an absolute necessity!

WHITE CHOCOLATE OREOS

Oreos

All you want to do is melt white chocolate chips and dip Oreos right into it. Or you can spread it if that’s any easier! Add some Halloween sprinkles, and then let the chocolate harden before eating.

Another good idea for this is to stick on pieces of Candy Corn instead of sprinkles, or use some food art pens to draw on spider webs!

FRANKENSTEIN RICE KRISPIES

Rice-Krispie-Treats

You’re going to make your standard Rice Krispie recipe, but before adding in the cereal, add in green food coloring. Mix in the coloring followed by the cereal, and then put them in the fridge for about twenty minutes to harden.   Cut the Rice Krispies into rectangles and dip one side (less than a quarter) into melted chocolate. This will be Frankenstein’s hair. Then, push in some candy eyeballs and use chocolate frosting to draw on a mouth.

HALLOWEEN CUPCAKES

Cupcake

You can definitely prepare cupcakes from scratch, but I used a Betty Crocker mix (make sure you make white cake!) to make things easier and faster. Once I had my batter prepared, I separated it into three bowls. With food coloring, I colored one bowl with purple, one with green, and one with orange. I then lined a cupcake pan, and added the batters in three layers. I started with purple, then put a layer of green, and then a layer of orange.

Now for the frosting! I made a ghost with one of mine by using a ton of white frosting, a chocolate chip for a mouth and two candy eyes. I also made a witch hat for one, with white frosting as a base, followed by chocolate frosting for the hat. For the others, I sprinkled on Halloween sprinkles, candy corn, and candy eyes.

I think it would also be fun to use colorful frosting and draw on things like a pumpkin or a bat!

BROWNIE WITCH HATS

Brownies
Again, for this one I didn’t make brownies from scratch but that’s definitely an option. When your brownies are finished baking, you’re going to start shaping pieces into witch hats. Do this when the brownies are still warm, but cool enough to touch, and simply cut out circles (decreasing in size) and then mold the pieces into one smooth hat. If you wish, you can also bake a very thick brownie and cut out pieces with a shot glass, and then shape the hat from there.

Once those are cut out, you’re going to melt chocolate. Spread some of the chocolate on a sheet of wax paper in the shape of a circle. This is going to be the base of the witch hat, so make sure the circle of chocolate is bigger than the brownie. Put the circular part of your brownie in the chocolate and let it sit until the chocolate hardens.

When it hardens, peel the chocolate off the paper and you’ll have cute little witch hats!

COOKIE DOUGH SPIDER TRUFFLES

Truffles
Start out by preparing an eggless cookie dough (check out Tablespoon’s yummy recipe!). Once that’s made, roll the cookie dough into little balls and dip them into melted chocolate.

When the chocolate is less of a liquid, but still not completely hardened, stick two candy eyes into the truffle. Then, break up some pretzels and stick them into the sides of the truffle. With the legs and eyes, you now have a cookie dough truffle shaped as a little spider!

HALLOWEEN WHITE CHOCOLATE FUDGE

Fudge
Prepare your favorite white fudge recipe (mine is from Taste of Home). Once that is prepared, before the fudge completely hardened, add in some Halloween decorations. I added Halloween sprinkles, candy corn, candy pumpkins, and candy eyes. Let the fudge harden and cut it into pieces to enjoy!

CHOCOLATE COVERED SKULLS

Strawberries
Dip some strawberries into some white chocolate. Let that harden, and draw on some skulls with icing. You could also do pumpkins or spider webs, or anything of the Halloween genre.

ORANGE JACK-O-LANTERNS

Oranges
First you’re going to peel some oranges. I used clementines, but regular size oranges work too. Once they’re peeled, take your icing and draw on a Jack-O-Lantern face. Use a pretzel for a stem and you’re done!

Basically nothing is better than Halloween and its yummy themed food!
