– I’m such a huge fan of Elton John and I’ve always loved ‘Your Song’. I was excited to have the opportunity to record my own version.  It’s such a beautiful song. Both the melody and the lyrics are perfect.  I hope people like it, says Leona Lewis.
Leona has recently released her fifth album, I Am.
That instantly recognizable voice is what has garnered Leona Lewis seven BRIT Award nominations, three Grammy Award nominations, and made the quadruple-platinum “Bleeding Love” the “best-selling song of 2008.” Among going No. 1 in over 35 countries and 10x Platinum in the U.K., she made U.S. history becoming the “First UK female solo artist to debut at #1 on the Billboard Top 200 in over 20 years” while the critically celebrated singer-songwriter’s worldwide sales surpass 20 million albums to date.
In 2014 she re-teamed with Echo producer and collaborator Toby Gad (John Legend, Beyoncé) to create her fifth and most personal full-length album — I Am. Released September 2015 on Island Records & Def Jam Recordings, I Am is as confessional as it is catchy. Featuring a special collaboration with GRAMMY Award-winning artist Diane Warren and including stunning hit singles such as “Fire Under My Feet,” “Thunder” and “I Am.” I Am highlights powerful, upbeat anthems and incredible emotional ballads, all demonstrating Leona’s striking, almost ethereal vocal range.
