The 2016 MTV Movie Awards were held in Burbank, California on April 9 and aired on April 10 From Rebel Wilson and Adam DeVine’s steamy make out sesh after winning “Best Kiss” to Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid playing with their popcorn this award show was a night to remember. The most memorable part of the night for some may have been what your favorite stars were wearing. Here are the best and worst dressed of the 2016 MTV Movie Awards.
Kendall Jenner had a greek goddess vibe in her sheer black dress, thigh high laced up heels (previewed on her Snapchat and Instagram) and ball styled ponytail. The cut out v and high low style of her dress added just the right amount of sexiness to her look.
Gigi Hadid went professional in a pinstriped blazer and dress pants. Her lacey bralette under the yellow button down made the whole thing work. Hadid’s newly chopped bangs almost took the attention away from her killer outfit.
Cara Delevingne wore a beautiful cropped sheer, velvet jumpsuit. Her gold accessories complimented the daring look quite well.
Holland Roden killed the off the shoulder trend in her bright blue top and matching trousers.
Lilly Singh had on a silky blue jumpsuit and black loafers for the awards. Her look embodied the menswear trend entirely. Her diamond necklace accented the ensemble perfectly.
Emilia Clarke may be great on the screen, but on the red carpet she was not so great. The actress wore a white midi dress with a woman’s face all over it. It was not quite as chic as it was creepy.
Amy Poehler wore a bomber jacket,Mickey Mouse t shirt, black jeans and sneakers. It might work on her days off, but not for the red carpet.
Farrah Abraham went with the old Hollywood glam look with loose curls and curve hugging floor length gown. The only problem with her look was the gold and black sequins pattern being a little too much and her makeup being off by a couple of shades.
Halsey showed up in a three piece salmon shorts suit. The jacket was gorgeous with the diamond embroidery. The sparkling bra and high waisted short shorts were too much.
Kat Graham attempted the latest slip dress trend. Her light pink slip dress did not work. The laced up ribbon was in all the wrong places.
