ESPY Awards 2016 best dressed

On July 13, world renowned athletes arrived to the award show at the Microsoft Stadium in Los Angeles. From the Cleveland Cavaliers’ first championship for the city in 50 years bringing home several awards to LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony’s speech on race, it was a night to remember. Pro teams and games were not the only focus of the night- the fashion was a major topic of the night. These are the best and worst dressed at the 2016 ESPY awards.

From Kobe Bryant winning the Iconic Award to LeBron James taking home three wins, including Best Male Athlete, Best Championship Performance and Best NBA player, the 2016 ESPY Awards were a night to never forget. On July 13, world renowned athletes arrived to the award show at the Microsoft Stadium in Los Angeles. Pro teams and games were not the only focus of the night- the fashion was a major topic of the night. These are the best and worst dressed at the 2016 ESPY awards.

 

Best:

Ciara wore a gorgeous, curve hugging gown while supporting her husband, Seattle Seahawks Quarterback, Russell Wilson.

 

Olivia Munn looked glamorous in a white full length gown with boyfriend, Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers Quarterback.

 

Danica Patrick, NASCAR driver, went simple for the awards in a little black dress.

 

Sierra Romero, Michigan Wolverines second baseman,showed some leg leg in a high slit, floor length black gown.

 

April Ross, beach volleyball player, wore a gorgeous electric blue trapeze dress with black accents.

 

Worst:

Seattle Storm power forward/center, Breanna Stewart’s maroon dress needed a little hem before the award show.

 

Danielle Moinet, professional wrestler, had a few too many cut outs in her black gown.

 

Michelle Beadle, sports reporter and ESPN host, looked like bubblegum in a pink gown with pearls lining the bottom.
