Air Jordan 13 Bred 2017

By  |

The summer of 2017 has brought us amazing new models, colorways, and new trends that will stick in the history books forever. To bring the summer to a dynamic close, Jordan brand will be releasing one of it’s most iconic and historical models the Air Jordan 13 bred.

From the very first moment that Michael laced up in the bred colorway in the NBA playoffs of 1998 it left the sneaker world in awe. Fans were waiting for that black and red colorway of the 13 the whole year that is a historic tradition on every Jordan brand model. As Michael stepped onto the floor, every person in that arena and sitting at home couldn’t pick their jaw up from the floor. Jordan and Nike finally gifted fans with exactly what they wanted.

Since 1998 the model has been retroed a few times but never like this. The new 2017 model sticks as close to the OG model than all its predecessors. Jordan brand decided to seek outside help to remaster the classic and enlisted in Dominic Chambrone also known as the famous “The Shoe Surgeon” to recreate an OG look of the Air Jordan 13 Bred. To recreate that look the “reflective upper, carbon fiber shank, and cat-eye hologram” have been re-added to the model bringing back that stellar OG look.

The model will release this weekend on August 19th for the price tag of 190$ and can be easily grabbed through Nike’s SNKRS App. Check out the fire images below and keep following for more amazing news!
