Time and time again we celebrate Jordan’s legacy on the court but this time around we celebrate his wins in the boardroom and the NBA front office. Jordan has grown from player, to coach, to business man, and now CEO/owner.   The Charlotte Hornets are one of the few upcoming teams to watch out for this season as Jordan has brought in Dwight Howard along with the evolution of his young star Kemba Walker. Along with their growth, the new NBA partnership with Nike has allowed the Hornets to have the Jordan emblem instead of the Nike emblem that the other 31 teams are required to wear.

In celebration of his new wins as an executive, Jordan brand will be releasing a special colorway of the Air Jordan 16. The colorway is dubbed “Air Jordan 16 CEO (Boardroom)” featuring an iridescent patent leather, black suede upper and a translucent outsole. The colors resemble the exact colorways of the Charlotte Hornets with its purple accents, and teal blue, and clean black upper.

If you are contemplating grabbing this pair then there is no time to waist. Only 2,300 pairs will be releasing and every pair is number, so chances are slim to grab this pair. Jordan Brand will be releasing these on October 20th, for the price tag of 250$. Celebrate an iconic CEO with this pair and best wishes snagging this model!
