Broken Stems Emerges on Macy’s iHeart Radio Rising Star

Broken Stems has emerged on the scene to theme your summer. Their recent rise in the music scene has drawn a strong following called the “Stems” who are set to fall on the earth everywhere their sound is played. Broken Stems is proud to announce they have been chosen to be the finalists to compete in Macy’s iHeartRadio Rising Star Competition.

Macy’s and iHeartRadio launched their fifth annual new music campaign to find the next Macy’s iHeartRadio Rising Star. The program is designed to support unsigned and independent artists. The winning artists on the line up will be featured on hundreds of radio stations across the country and it includes exposure on all of iHeartMedia’s platforms this includes on–air, digital, social, and much more. This year, the competition was open to emerging country, urban, pop and rock artists.

 

With the Broken Stems emerging on the Macy’s iHeartRadio Rising Star competition you will have the opportunity to vote them into the 2016 iHeartRadio Music Festival and Jingle Ball Pre-Events. The campaign runs for six weeks kicking off on May 11th and lasting until June 5th. The Rising Star winner will be featured in a multi-platform campaign, delivering millions of impressions. The San Diego based band brings Blues, Rock & Soul with a positive wave of energy and an eclectic California sound.

 

With their newest album release scheduled for Wednesday, May 11th, you will have the soundtrack to your summer and a visual escape with their latest moving documentary, “Caravan to Cabo” which premiered at The Music Box theater in San Diego, CA. In recent coverage The Broken Stems has been described as having chemistry that “can be heard in their sound, in the rhythm and in the feel. The Broken Stem’s vibe will easily become your soundtrack to your summer. We expect nothing but greatness from this band to watch.”
