Byronesque x Hotoveli Pop Up
It was like a black parade, except less music and rather pleasing black M&Ms, Byronesque style. More than just a brilliant collaboration with Hotoveli, an excellent boutique in West Village that carries cutting edge piece that are to die for. Byronesque the online designer contemporary vintage fashion and editorial site that launched in 2012 is going offline again. Starting May 19th to June 5th serious vintage lovers can buy and explore the designs that changed the course of fashion forever. This time with a selection of meticulously chosen designer vintage pieces from all over the world such as the Azzadine Aläia leather biker dress made infamous by Grace Jones, rare Comme Des Garçons from dot.COMME in Australia and early Supreme pieces that will be available the second week of the installation. The installation also features photographs of Michéle Lamy and Marina Abramovic styled in Byronesque styled by Havana Laffitte and photographed by Byronesque’s creative director, Justin Westover. They can be seen outside the windows of Hotoveli projected onto two television screens.
