The Colors of Fall 2015
Ahh, how the beginning of summer seemed like it just happened, yet here we are in the middle of August! It’s almost fall! Where did the time go?! Oh well, now it’s time to break out the fall wardrobe! Seen on the runways of RTW and haute couture lines, I’ve chosen my top three picks for the top color trends of Fall 2015. Along with the top three color trends are my picks for the clothing and accessories you need in your closet in each color!
Simple Black/White
Black and white has always been a classic color scheme and combined they can make any outfit look effortlessly chic and crisp. Both colors can also go with anything and everything, so get on this color trend! These colors are perfect for the office, school or just for a day to day outfit. Black and white together were seen at most of the fall 2015 runway shows including Calvin Klein, Givenchy, Ralph Lauren, Alexander Wang and Versace.
Mini Tote Bag:
Tory Burch Mini Lonnie East meets West Bag
Printed Dress:
Sporty Sneakers:
Sperry Gold Sport Sneakers
Desert Suede
This sandy beige color is perfect for fall and was the basis of the Ralph Lauren Fall 2015 line. I personally think this color looks best on a coat or a bootie, but after seeing Ralph Lauren’s line, I think it can look amazing on any article of clothing. This color can tone down an outfit as it is a neutral and it would look great for any occasion. This color was also seen on the Miu Miu, Gucci, and Fendi lines.
Ankle Bootie:
Tory Burch Westbury Ankle Boot
Biker Jacket:
TopShop Tan Suede Biker Jacket
Nail Polish:
Forest Green
Reminiscent of the changing leaves, forest green is the ultimate fall color. Although this color has been hot lately year-round, it’s going to be huge this fall. Seen on the likes of Prada, Miu Miu, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, and Fendi, every designer is jumping on this trend and you should too! The best hue would be a forest or army green and it is perfect on a jacket paired with knee high boots and skinny jeans, or you can even throw some forest green jeans on with a black or beige sweater and you’ll be totally on trend for fall!
Cropped Jacket:
Rag and Bone Crop Military Jacket
Jeans:
Current/Elliott Conductor Jean
Jumper:
Fall is going to be all about experimenting so always remember it’s okay to (and I encourage you to) switch up your look and the colors you wear! I know I get pegged for only wearing black and white, so whenever I wear a color it’s a huge deal! You’ll get tons of compliments and you might even find a new favorite color! Get ready for fall by breaking out the pumpkin spiced everything and revamp your wardrobe!
