Paris Fashion Week ended few days ago, which means that Fashion Month has come to a close. There are many trends from the biggest month in fashion to look forward to this spring and summer. Chanel, Saint Laurent, Louis Vuitton and so many more brands showed off their ready to wear collections. Each having their own taste for the new season.

Black & Brown

Break the fashion rules and wear black and brown together as seen in the Balmain collection. The trick to pulling off the trend is matching black with a lighter brown rather than a clashing darker brown. Model, Gigi Hadid, wore a black and light brown skirt and crop top on the runway. It’s the perfect mix of the two colors.

Leather Jackets

Louis Vuitton has redefined the leather jacket. On the runway models were seen in black leather jackets. One had a military feel to them because of the buttons on it. The new twist on an iconic staple brings a solidery feel to this coming season.

Sophisticated Embelishments

Valentino added a modern twist to the evening gown. Fringe, tulle, feathers and embroidery were all combined to make a beautiful dress perfect for galas and red carpets. A tulle skirt with a fringe overlay keeps the gown sleek and chic. The embroidery adds an aura of sophistication to the whole ensemble.

Colorful Coats

Miu Miu’s theme was basically big coats. Cropped peacoats and trench coats with colorful patterns are going to be big for next spring and summer. The bright colors are great for the transition between winter and spring.

Casual Couture

Saint Laurent made the runway casual and stepped away from couture. The models walked in wellies down the runway. They will be perfect for the rainy spring showers. Some had beautiful rose detail. The wellies complimented the grunginess of Hedi Slimane’s designs.
