Chelsea Boots

The need to own a good pair of boots goes without saying, but one trend that has rolled over from 2015 is the stylish Chelsea Boot. Up-and-coming shoe designer O’Keeffe has offered its own classic take on the boot complete with the elastic side panel that makes the Chelsea so convenient, and comfortable. The versatility of the Chelsea is one of the main reasons for its popularity as the boot pairs equally well with both a sharp tailored suit as well as a clean pair of jeans, making it an essential shoe for any man’s wardrobe.

Stylish Hip-Hop Hi-Tops

You might have noticed this style being paired with suits and tuxes on the red carpet last year. Well, it looks like designers are planning on keeping the trend going in 2016 as well. The sneakers by Chris Stamp and Filling Pieces made waves when they hit the runway this year, as noted by Fashionista. And to be honest, they reminded us a lot of the Yeezy Season 3s with their minimal, earth-toned uppers and design reminiscent of a retro Air Jordan made for a post-apocalyptic society. And it isn’t just Kanye offering a designer take on hi-tops. Lyst reveals that there’s a wide variety of designers offering their own looks, such as Rick Owens, Versace and Jimmy Choo. The patent-leather look from Choo is both flashy and bold. The zip-up sides seen in the shoes from Rick Owens are something we’ve noticed with other designers, such as Giuseppe Zanotti and Hogan Rebel. That’s one feature we expect to be very fashionable this year.

Slip-On Shoes

One shoe trend that has us excited is the slip-on shoe. Comfortable and convenient we’ll take anything that gives us a valid excuse to avoid socks. Espadrilles are one style that is set to be big for spring, as are the colorful, designer takes on traditional slippers designed for outside-the-house wear seen on The Trendspotter. While you won’t be able to go around wearing your favorite bunny slippers, your feet be can still be both stylish and cozy this spring thanks to the new styles from Moschino and Burberry Prorsum. Try pairing your new slippers with a well-tailored pair of slacks to ensure that you look stylish as opposed to simply lazy.

However, Adidas took the brand to new heights with the introduction of the tonal “triple-white” look that was released in 2015.
