Meet Tictail – the Place the World’s Best Indie Brands call Home
Riding high after successful holiday pop-up shops in New York, Paris and Stockholm, Tictail is now cementing the online experience with its first permanent brick and mortar shop in the Lower East Side (90 Orchard St.) The store is filled with incredible brands and designers from all over the world and is waiting for NYC to discover a whole new world of fashion, home decor and art.
“From day one we’ve sought to bring together a community of amazing local brands from around the world, and give them the tools to build global businesses,” explains Carl Waldekranz, Tictail co-founder and CEO, named last week as a Forbes 30 Under 30: Retail & E-Commerce. “Tictail Market will be an immersive experience, a touchpoint for New Yorkers to explore and engage with the incredible stories behind each and every Tictail entrepreneur.”
Tictail Market New York just a small preview of Tictail’s 2 million products, from over 140 countries worldwide. The shop will curate trending and unique pieces from the online community, creating a one stop shop that’s always changing. The Tictail community has talented, ambitious designers — Daniel Dugoff, Romeo Hunte, and Anne-Sofie Back just to name a few — as well as discerning shoppers seeking out tomorrow’s favorite brands.
“Shopping at Tictail makes it easy to find pieces that will have all your friends guessing where you got it from – I got a bomber from GRAPES and it’s my finishing statement for so many outfits,” said Spencer Jacoppi as he left the shop. New York is falling in love with Tictail and with celebrities like Beyoncé already seen in Tictail brands, its clear that this shopping experience is changing the game.
The Swedish-designed store will host a seasonal community seller in the front of the shop, giving local small business owners a central storefront to build a local audience.
For those unable to visit Tictail Market New York, Tictail offers an online market experience, showcasing gift guides, online exclusives, influencer picks, discussions with the designers, and more.
