Classic, classic, classic! When it comes to classics, people seem to always fall back in love and remember when they first witnessed the original. Inside the sneaker community, sneakerheads mindsets are built on original classic models, which is why many brands continue to give the community what they want. The Air Jordan 5 is one the most celebrated Air Jordan models and by far a huge fan favorite throughout the world. Since it touched the court in 1989 it has become a world phenomenon. The black metallic colorway is one of the most popular due to its simplicity and its famous nubuck leather. This shoe released previously in 2011, but this time it returns better and resembles more to the OG pair of the 90s.

Jordan brand has been releasing retros with “Nike Air” branding for the last four years starting off with the white cements 3s, then white cement 4s, and now the black metallic 5s. This model is decked with its classic black nubuck leather, red jumpman, and now the “Nike Air” branding on the back of the shoe and on the inside. Fans can even think back to when Will Smith wore them on “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air”.

This model will forever represent the 90s and fans can get taste of how that feels by grabbing a pair this month on July 23rd. The only downside is the price tag of 220$. Sneakerheads appreciate the fact that brands heard our voice and brought us better quality sneakers, but on the flip side they have destroyed our pockets! Hopefully Jordan Brand will understand and stick with the usual 190$ price tag, but for now check out the stellar images below and get your fill of the 90s love.
