The Teen Choice Awards were held at The Forum in Los Angeles on July 31. The show was hosted by John Cena and Victoria Justice. From Justin Timberlake’s inspiring acceptance speech for the Decade Award to Kendall Jenner winning Choice Model and Choice Female Hottie despite being up against her two besties (Gigi Hadid and Hailey Baldwin), the night was one to remember. The awards were not the only wins -or losses- of the night, the outfits either worked or didn’t. These are the best and worst dress of the 2016 Teen Choice Awards.
Best:
Laverne Cox showed off her curves in a black, velvet jumpsuit.
Shay Mitchell went for the metallic trend in a shinning gold mini dress.
Chanel Iman had bohemian vibes in her two piece gown.
Lucy Hale followed the metallic trend and wore a silver mini dress.
Jessica Alba looked very professional in her crop top and flared dress pants.
Worst:
Lea Michele had too many patterns happening with her printed skirt and crop top.
Jodie Sweetin wore a unflattering little black dress with even worse shoes.
Gina Rodriguez attempted the menswear trend, but failed with the long tie fashioned into a bow tie.
Sarah Hyland’s dress looked to stiff to be flattering or comfortable for that matter.
Tracee Ellis Ross’s oversized dress looked a bit too oversized and did not pair well with her platformed sneakers.
