The first single “Don’t Let Go” from Farruko’s upcoming album TrapXficante, addresses the new immigration policies set in place by the Trump administration. Farruko is using the new single as a platform to launch his inspirational “Let’s Unite” (Unámonos) campaign.

Carlos Efrén Rosado, known by his stage name Farruko, is a Puerto Rican singer and songwriter. His music genre is Latin, Reggaeton and Urban. Farruko has been nominated for Latin Grammy and ASCAP awards in 2016. He rose to fame collaborating with heavyweight artists such as Daddy Yankee, Jory, and J Alvarez. He came to prominence with his debut studio album, El Talento Del Bloque.

Farruko’s Manager Franklin Martinez says “The new video for the new single ‘Don’t Let Go’ has being going viral since we released it. Farruko wanted to deliver his message about the new immigration laws and the crisis he has been seeing around him where many immigrant families separated from each other. He wanted the video to reflect this message and show his fans the current political state in the country right now.”

“The message in the new single ‘Don’t Let Go’ is very powerful. It is important that we keep our fans and Farruko supporters informed on the current issues going on in our country”, says Roland Reznik business entrepreneur.

The shocking video that is going viral shows depiction of arrests, deportations and dividing families. This is the first time the artist has been vocal and voiced his opinions on social issues and his views on the Trump’s administration immigration polices.
