Justin Timberlake’s Possible Super Bowl LII Halftime Guest List

By  |

While NFL teams are still duking it out to land a spot in Super Bowl LII, one thing that has been confirmed is the performer for the coveted halftime show: Justin Timberlake. Even though details about his performance are kept under wraps until that evening, many are speculating as to whom he could invite onstage to perform with him.

It doesn’t seem like a coincidence that Timberlake’s fourth studio album, Man of the Woods, will drop two days before his Super Bowl performance. We know there are a few collaborations on his new album including Alicia Keys and Chris Stapleton. Could this indicate who could appear alongside him?

Another route the “Can’t Stop the Feeling” singer could take is to pay homage to his beginnings and bring *NYSNC back together for a special performance. After all, they were only the biggest boy band of the ‘90s. Flying off the Super Bowl stage as a group singing, “Bye, Bye Bye” … anyone?

“M-I-C-K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E…” If the GRAMMY-winning artist wants a real throwback tribute, he could invite former Mickey Mouse Club members Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera to the stage.

Britney Spears’ Las Vegas residency ended in December 2017, and it hasn’t been revealed yet what her post-residency plans are. An opening in her calendar could be an indication that she could be a special guest performance and back on the scene.

As for Aguilera, after taking a five-year break from recording music, it appears as though she may be wrapping up her latest album if this cryptic Instagram post is any sign. And what better publicity for a new album than a Super Bowl guest performance?

Finally, rounding out the list is Janet Jackson. Her name has been thrown out several times already, as this wouldn’t be the first time they performed at the Super Bowl together. Remember 2004 and the infamous wardrobe malfunction? Even though this sounds like ratings gold, my money is still on *NSYNC.

One thing is for sure, it’s a musical performance you won’t want to miss! Who do you think will perform with Timberlake?
