Ah, supermodels. We love them, hate them, love to hate them, and then go full circle and love them again. In all fairness, the models of today are much more approachable than those of the previous generations. They give us workout tips, diet tips, insight into their everyday outfits, and what we’re all here for today – gym look inspiration. If you’re working out to get the body of your favorite supermodel, you definitely need the clothes to match. However, given that sportswear has gone rogue, turned into the fashion phenomenon called athleisure and is now conquering the streets, feel free to rock these clothes outside the gym as well. The models do it, so why can’t you? Therefore, let’s see what our it girls are rocking at and outside the gym these days so we can run off and snag their style.

Give it up for millennial pink

One of the most coveted gym looks of today involves a lot of pink, more specifically, millennial pink. All the amazing activewear brands are catering to the pink frenzy and coming out with incredible lines consisting of comfortable and supportive crop tops, sports bras, chic and functional leggings and sweatpants. Now, if you want to do it like Gigi does, (and we know you do), after your workout, make sure to put on your sporty-version of a bomber jacket/trench coat, amazing eyewear and a killer bag. Yes, gym clothes are to be taken to brunch after a grueling workout, or even a breezy one, but don’t forget to add these two winning accessories.

Super casual

If you’re a low-key girl who just wants to get her jog on and exude that supermodel look but without all the effort, Adriana Lima is here to give you the ultimate lesson. All you need is a pair of high-rise leggings, preferably sweat-wicking ones, a hoodie tied around your waist for when you’re done and you want to cozy up, and an interesting (in her case galactic-print) sports bra, just to add a bit of flair to the all-black combo. And of course, don’t forget to bring your running jams with you, along with an incredible pair of running shoes that provide not only good sole, but also great ankle support.

Metallic? Oh, yes

One of Bella’s go-to looks at the gym is a simple black sports bra and black leggings or cotton pants. When you’re breaking a good sweat, a good sports bra is crucial for support, and as far as the bottoms go, it’s really a judgment, just make sure you keep things monochromatic. However, when you’re done and you want to take yourself for a walk, it’s unlikely that you can get away with just a bra. This is why Bella has added a cool twist in the form of a practical grey hoodie, and then to seal the deal and look super-stylish, she’s added a silver down puffer jacket. Of course, leave it unzipped to show the entire look off, and of course, don’t forget the eyewear.

A classy hike

For those times when you feel more inclined to go for a nice and actually relaxing but super-impactful hike, you don’t have to concern yourself with finding that perfect bra. Instead, take your cue from Kendall Jenner and go with a grey crop top instead. The combination of a grey crop and black leggings looks effortlessly cool, and you can add a touch of pizzazz by opting for sheer-paneled instead of plain leggings. A cool water bottle is a definite must, along with sunglasses (which you can wear the entire time on a hike), and of course, don’t underestimate the importance of amazing sneakers when you’re climbing hills.

A splash of color

Victoria’s secret models are known for their incredible bodies, and many of them – Adriana Lima, Bella and Gigi included – often resort to boxing as an integral part of their workout regimen. So what does one wear for boxing? Well, Adriana Lima sure made things colorful, and if you’re tired of monochrome and are in dire need of a splash of color, feel free to follow in her footsteps. Boxing shorts in bright orange and a contrasting blue fitted strappy top will definitely give you the color boost you need. The black hoodie is optional, but just in case you don’t want to catch a chill, do bring it along.
