Introducing Nike React Element 87

By  |

Earlier this year Nike was able to win back some of the sneaker community with their new model the “Epic React”.

It was a huge success and was able to win back a lot of fans that became major followers of Adidas due to the popularity of the NMD and their collaborations with Pharrell. Nike is now introducing what sneakerheads are the calling the shoe of the year, the Nike Epic React Element 87.

Designer Darryl Matthews was able to create one of the slickest and creative models Nike has every introduced. Mathews first completed research by testing individuals who are on the feet consistently and mapped out the areas where the foot takes on the most pressure. After mapping it out, Mathews then drilled holes into those spots to give it a pressure release to create ultimate comfort throughout the shoe.

The new Nike React Element 87 is different from its predecessor in that the focus is not on being a complete running shoe but made for streetwear and everyday walking. It’s most compelling feature is the see through midsole shell that leaves sneakerheads in awe. The shell allows sneakerheads to change the overall look of the shoe with just the color of their socks! The world is going to see some of the most craziest color schemes and it will be amazing to see just how creative sneakerheads get with this model. Nike will be releasing two colorways in the Sail and Light Bone-white and the antarctic black and white.

Both models will be releasing on July 13th and are sure to sell out, but don’t be discouraged if you miss out. Nike will be rolling out several other colorways in the near future and this model is here to stay for the long run. Check out the stellar images by Nike below and be sure to grab them this weekend!
