Interesting Spots for Youth in Australia
A fun getaway is always desirable, especially when it includes some mind-blowing sceneries, adventures, clubs and blurry nights. And now, during your college days, is the perfect time to experience all that. And if you want to make sure you have the best time ever, visit the fabulous Land Down Under. Here are the best spots you should definitely consider checking out.
Melbourne
Melbourne is known as the most livable city in the whole world. In Melbourne, you will have the opportunity to swim with sharks and dolphins and enjoy its quite vibrant music scene and its cute wildlife – from koalas all the way to fairy penguins. Also, it is home to countless luscious gardens and parks, beautiful train stations and vibrant street art wherever you look. Furthermore, through the whole city, you will find fabulous restaurants and cafes, as well as bars and boutiques hidden behind rickety old stairs and inconspicuous doors. Quite interesting if you ask me.
Sydney
Sydney is a city you cannot miss when visiting Australia. Firstly, Sydney is home to some of the best beaches in the world, enriched with white sand and crystal clear water. Also, there are countless incredibly beautiful parks and other hang out places where you can chill with your friends and take stunning Instagram photos, such as Darling Harbour, the Opera House, Harbour Bridge etc. There is also so much stuff to do here, from surf lessons through sight-seeing and hiking all the way to high-class cruises. For art lovers, there are countless museums and art galleries, as well as the 23 days long ‘Vivid’ Festival that combines art, technology, music and light by turning Sydney’s most gorgeous buildings into stunning light projections canvases. Combine all this with super cheap and comfortable student accommodation near Sydney and you have the trip of your dreams.
Brisbane
As the capital of Queensland, Brisbane is one of the most interesting cities for youth in Australia. For art lovers, there is the Gallery of Modern Art, which is the most popular art gallery in the entire country. Also, Brisbane has one of the most vibrant city lives so you definitely won’t get bored there, and it is super rich when it comes to wildlife and nature. Also, Brisbane was named one of the top 5 music hotspots by Billboard, thanks to its unbeatable music scene. And if you are a night owl, there are countless pubs, bars, clubs and shops wherever you look.
Cairns
This city also has insane nightlife, especially if you are a backpacker or if you are traveling on a budget. On every corner, you can find cheap beer and grub. Alternatively, you can join the party tours and hit all the popular nightlife spots, and regret your drunk decisions the next morning while splashing in the Great Barrier Reef.
Perth
Perth was once a small, isolated, sleepy town, and then it said – SCREW YOU, not anymore. Now, this is a bustling metropolis on the west coast of Australia, geared perfectly for budget travelers and backpackers since there are literally countless clubs, bars and backpacker hostels. Also, the sunsets on the beaches are a sight to behold.
Byron Bay
Oh, did I tell you Sydney beaches are great? Well… they’re not Byron Bay great. A surf town with cool, chill hippie vibes, it is probably something of an Aussie party mecca. You can enjoy live music in many beach bars, and then head to clubs such as Cheeky Monkey and dance your soul away. You will have the time of your life but at the same time, you will go home on a whole new spiritual level.
As a conclusion, I will say that no matter where you go in Australia, you will have a good time, but in these cities, you will have the time of your life.
