How Our Health Is So Unpredictable

By  |

Sometimes we definitely do take our health for granted. Because everything can change at the drop of a hat, and you just don’t know what’s around the corner. Of course, you’ll go through life believing that it would never happen to you, because after all, you’ve gone so long being healthy as it is. But that’s not to say that tomorrow you aren’t going to wake up, and something totally life changing is going to happen to you. You might not be able to live the life you are today, yet today is a day you will take for granted, is it not? Even something that isn’t related to your body, such as a car crash, can completely change your life. But our bodies are complex systems made up of millions of cells, hundreds of bones, and just a few vital organs that keep us walking and talking as we ar. So, before you spend another day taking your life for granted, have a read of the article we’ve got below, and see if we can change your view about your health, and show you why it can change at the drop of a hat.

Those Millions Of Cells

There literally millions of cells. If you were to try and count them all it would be physically impossible. Because throughout the day the number of cells that are in your body change. Some die, some are reborn, and some are mutating. But it is the mutating cells that we want to focus on. If you cells are duplicating, they can be healthy. It can be perfectly normal, and allows our bodies to function. But when they start duplicating at a much higher rate, and the shape of the cells is somewhat mutated, it’s the start of many problems to come. But for some of you, you will have done absolutely nothing wrong for this to happen. It’s not genetic, it’s not the way you treat your body, but it is cancer. One in two people will be affected by cancer at some point in their life, with the severity of it ranging from low to high. Luckily, there are now treatments being developed that are improving the outlook for cancer patients by so much. But don’t now walk around worrying if your cells are going to duplicate and mutate. Although the change in cells is rapid, the formation of cancer is most of the time slow, and symptoms present themselves pretty quickly. What we would recommend is that you watch your health for any changes. Something as simple as weight loss, or the amount of times you go to the toilet a day could indicate cancer. If you’re seriously worried, pay for monthly blood tests. These will detect signs of cancer by looking at how many red blood cells are in the body.

The Way You Treat Your Body

So, whilst the topic we’ve just spoke about can’t be helped, some things that go wrong with our bodies most definitely can. If you treat your body is such a way that you’re damaging it, well you can only expect repercussions to come your way. We get that it’s hard to keep your body in a condition that matches that of a holy temple, but if you go overboard with the indulging and the bad habits, there’s no reason why you can’t expect it to come back on you. Things such as strokes or heart attacks are the most common things that can happen to our bodies if we indulge in things such as a poor diet, smoking, and alcohol binging. Stroke treatment luckily has now improved so much so that the outlook after a stroke is much brighter. But that doesn’t mean that if you were to have a severe stroke, you could just carry on as how you are. You need to make sure you’re focusing on a healthy lifestyle, with the odd indulge as you go along.

Unlucky Circumstances

Sometimes you’re just going to be super unlucky. You might be walking around one minute, and the next your body could just shut down due to a virus you’ve picked up. Think of meningitis. You do absolutely nothing to your body to cause it, you either pick up an infection that triggers meningitis, or your body causes it. So don’t think that when something does go wrong, it’s necessarily because of you. It could easily just a random occurrence. You don’t need to walk around protecting yourself all of the time. Live a free life, treat your body right, and deal with anything as and when it comes along!
