Kate Flannery Shares Reason for Missing ‘The Office’ Mini Reunion

By  |

During the holiday season, part of “The Office” cast gathered at show writer Greg Daniels’ house for an off-screen brunch reunion, but Kate Flannery, best known for her role as Meredith Palmer on the sitcom, was notably missing.

Kate sat down with me and revealed the reason why she had to miss the epic reunion before the holidays.

“I couldn’t be there because I was on the road,” says Kate. The actress and singer is currently touring the country with Jane Lynch, “Glee” vocal arranger Tim Davis, and The Tony Guerrero Quintet, promoting their album, A Swingin’ Little Christmas. “I do see some people from ‘The Office’ but I need to make a point to see people more often because I really miss them and we had nine years together which was so awesome.”

Reflecting on her time with the NBC hit show, “Things end. It doesn’t matter how great they are, eventually they all end. I will say ‘The Office’ has definitely had another life from Netflix and what’s it on 12 times a day on Comedy Central? If you’re stuck at a hospital, and you don’t have access to the remote, you will probably end up having to watch ‘The Office.’”
