It has been a crazy past year and had a lot of us re-evaluate our life choices. People who might have thought they were happy in a career are now deciding that it is time to do something new. Those that previously didn’t like the job that they were in have had the time to retrain, taking part in skills courses in the evening and researching what other jobs are out there. Yet not everyone knows exactly what it is they want to do. And this can be tricky. If you don’t know what profession is for you, you can feel a bit lost and it can be a deterrent for going out and finding a new job. Just remember, life is too short to do something you don’t enjoy and while you should work to live not live to work, you want to enjoy what you do. If you have always wanted to be a dentist but not got round to it, then why not make this year the year that you do? If you are a creative and want flexibility in your career, then why not become a freelancer? There are many freelance roles that you can do, including being a photographer, a writer and a marketer. It can be hard to pitch for jobs, but the roles can be better paid and you will be doing something that you really love every single day. A job in travel

If you love to travel, then why not incorporate this into your career? There are many roles here, from being a travel journalist to a flight attendant or a travel agent. You will get to hopefully travel the world while also getting paid. What could be better than that? Do some research for this as there are many different roles and some of them require a lot of training and some qualifications too.
