This means leaving them alone may lead to separation anxiety and destructive behavior. If you are not around much, better avoid this dog breed.

3. Are Cavapoos Healthy Dogs?

It is important to understand the health concerns a breed may face in the future before you get one home. You do not want to end up paying thousands in vet bills.

But do not worry, Cavapoos are in general healthy dogs but, like any other dog breed, may be prone to certain ailments like congenital heart attacks and progressive renal atrophy. If you keep a check on the dog’s health and visit the vet now and then make sure your dog is healthy, you should worry much.

You need not worry here as Cavapoos are known to like for about 13 to 15 years, and the longest living Cavapoo crossed 20 years of age. Hence, this dog is going to be around you for a long, long time.

6. From Where Should You Get a Cavapoo?

We would still suggest you look for Cavapoo rescues even if it is tough to find this breed. It is always better to adopt a dog as you will give a homeless dog a new shelter. The key here is persistence. You may not find it right away but wait for a few months before heading towards a professional breeder. Also, call the shelter and ask them to put down your number informing you are interested in adopting this breed.

Mixed breed dogs are not commonly available for adoption, but they make great lovable pets if you can find one.
