Social Lifestyle Magazine held it’s first Meat and Greet Food Tasting at Ornella Trattoria Restaurant in Astoria, Queens. New York City publicist Alysia Stern invited more than a handful of news media and food journalists to the event. Needless to say, it was a huge success.
Guiseppe Viterale, owner of Ornella Trattoria, hosted the event with an incredible menu and many desirable stories. His Italian roots are not only filled with culture, but with history. The following menu was served:
Appetizer:
Burrata & smoked salmon
Duck meatballs
Cheeses with marmalade (hot pepper,eggplant,onions)
PASTA:
Chestnut pasta, Pizzoccheri and Imbustata
MAIN ENTREE:
Short ribs with gnocchi, Stuffed pork chop
DESSERT:
Sanguinaccio
Coffee sorbet with natural snow
Each of the media who attended will be posted an article about either the food or their participation. Please follow them to share in the experience:

On a personal note, I highly recommend Ornella Trattoria Italiana. The food was better than expected and the service was unbelievable. When you dine here, ask to personally speak with Giuseppe. His personality and stories will make your meal a memory you will never forget.
