According to recent WWE News, The UNIVERSAL CHAMPION, and the long-cherished client of Paul Heyman, Brock Lesnar is all set to make an appearance on RAW on July 29 and August 5, ahead of the next WWE pay-per-view SummerSlam 2019. Lesnar is set against Seth Rollins in a rematch from WrestleMania 35 and it’s going to be a title defense for the WWE Universal Championship. The match will take place on August 11 at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto.
We all know that WWE plan almost all of their storylines, months in advance, but recently a new development has come into the light. According to WWE News, SummerSlam 2019 could be doctored, so that it fits in with Paul Heyman and Eric Bischoff’s visions for their brands.
Recently WWE appointed Paul Heyman and Eric Bischoff as Executive Directors of Monday Night Raw and SmackDown Live respectively. And as one might have anticipated, both Paul Heyman and Eric Bischoff have been making plans to make their moves official.
One might have noticed, that Monday Night Raw has already started to show signs of improvement ever since Heyman has been appointed the Executive Director, and has started to help Vince McMahon to call the shots. This obviously is a good sign of things to come, for both the company and its fans.
At Monday night RAW, Paul Heyman has been making Major changes ahead of SummerSlam. Although nothing could be said with absolute confirmation it seems Paul Heyman might be planning to put Drew McIntyre up against The Undertaker. It will be interesting to see how will he stage up a believable feud between Drew and Undertaker in just two weeks time. This might be an outcome of the No Holds Barred Match between The Undertaker and Roman Reigns vs Drew McIntyre and Shane McMahon at the Extreme Rules. But it would be exciting to see Drew finally getting recognized for his potential at the Company. Although the Extreme Rules encounter between the two teams is itself under speculations.
Amongst other rumors are that Paul Heyman might be scheming to abolish the Wild Card Rule and come up with a better and brand new WWE draft.
What are Paul Heyman’s plans, it’s known to only him, all we know is if things continue the way it has been going up until this point, Vince McMahon might have made one of the wisest decisions by appointing Paul Heyman as Executive Director for RAW.
