Make Up For Ever’s new campaign is all about celebrating individuality. With transgender model Andreja Pejic, and actress Jamie Chung representing the campaign the images are striking. The brand has always been known for their highly pigmented shadows, and camera-ready complexion products. Celebrity make-up artist Melanie Inglessis, who I found to be just as charming as she is artistic, created the looks.
On August 12, 2015 Make Up For Ever invited a select few LA based beauty bloggers together to promote the mantra. Melanie and Jamie were both in attendance networking with the bloggers and guests alike. Melanie graciously gave senior artist tips and tricks on the coveted shadows. Each blogger received a personalized tin with their own face on it, along with a few artist shadows of their choice. Every color really represents a realm of the artist’s personality and being. Whether it be a mermaid teal, or a matte burnt umber, there is a shade and texture for every emotion and feeling known to man (or woman).
Beauty bloggers and or vloggers have become the real influence in what is trending today. They are relatable and unbiased on their recommendations. It is very important for them as the role models they are to project a positive influence onto their followers. That is what Make Up For Ever was looking to accomplish with the event.
Try something new with your makeup, and don’t be afraid to think out of the box. Carry the new look with confidence.
Be Bold. Be Unexpected. Be You.
