The Lamborghini Huracan gets a new look
The Italian police are ready to go hunt some Ferrari-driving lawbreakers after having taken delivery of a new Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4 police car.
The Huracan is actually the second delivered to the Italian authorities – the first having been given to the Polizia when the Huracan was first launched in 2014. Like that car, this new one features a blue and white police livery with Italian flag accent stripes and a roof-mounted police light bar. The look is completed by a set of unique Pirelli PZero Corsa tires with blue sidewalls developed specifically for this application.
The cabin of the supercar is adorned with typical police equipment such as a police radio, a fire extinguisher, gun holster and hooks for a handheld stop sign. The front trunk also features a cooler for urgent organ delivery purposes and a defibrillator. The Polizia’s Lamborghini may look like it’s all for fun – but they use it for some very serious matters.

Apart from the policing-related modifications, this Huracan remains entirely stock, retaining its 610 horsepower 5.2-liter V10 engine, seven-speed dual clutch transmission, and all-wheel drive system. We’re sure the stock Lamborghini is more than potent enough for the Italian cops, anyway. Let’s just hope they don’t come across a speeding LaFerrari one day.
