On January 27 a heated Twitter battle began between rappers Kanye West and Wiz Khalifa. It started with Khalifa insulting West’s anticipated album, “Waves”. Khalifa thought the title change from “Swish” to “Waves” disrespected rapper Max B.

Khalifa said, “Hit this kk and become yourself,” referring to Khalifa Kush, his strain of weed, when West took it for a dig at his wife, reality star, Kim Kardashian- West.

Yeezy defended himself and shot back at Khalifa with a list of 17 tweets that said Khalifa’s ex wife, Amber Rose, is a stripper who trapped him, his music is corny, he stole his music from Cudi and the only reason West paid any attention to him was Khalifa’s “cool pants”.

Khalifa responded by tweeting, “KK is weed fool. Reason’s why your not wavy. Go back to Swish.”

Both sides had Twitter support from their loved ones.

Khloe Kardashian, West’s sister-in-law, tweeted in support, “Yeezy for president!!!!! @kanyewest #Waves.”

Rose defended Khalifa and son, Sebastian, and tweeted, “Awww @kanyewest are u mad I’m not around to play in ur a–hole anymore? #FingersInTheBootyA–B—h.”

West has since deleted the Twitter conversation.
