A theme is needed for every Christmas party you throw, whether you want your guests to come dressed as characters from A Christmas Carol or you simply have a white and gold colour scheme to work with. As long as you’ve got a theme, you’ve got one central point to design the rest of your party around – this makes trying to decorate, order food, and simply lay on certain games, a lot easier on you! 

Hire a Photographer

Having a professional photographer present at your party is a great way to get your guests in the Christmas mood. After all, when someone who knows how to capture the perfect angle each time is in the house, everyone in attendance is going to look their best! They’ll stick to the theme, and won’t get too drunk before the photos are taken…

Lay out a food spread, and even get trays for people to carry around with them for food and drink on the go. Make sure there the music is always on, and there’s different paced tracks for people who want to stand and talk and those who want to dance. And try to get some interactive games involved as well; maybe a festive edition of Twister would be a good shout here!
